Definition​

Evidence posture describes the state of the evidence used to evaluate a proposed transition.

It answers whether the available evidence is present, missing, stale, incomplete, conflicting, or sufficient for the transition being reviewed.

Evidence posture is the evidence condition at or near commit time.
