Original Drawing Reference

Purpose​

This page records the public-safe provenance posture for the original hand-drawn source artifact now referenced as SG-001.

The drawing may be relevant to Formalism and Glossary chronology, but it should not be treated as proof of priority, derivation, or admissibility until artifact custody, source images, date evidence, and relationship claims are reviewable.

Current Earliest Preserved Copy​

Original hand-drawn SG-001 source geometry

The currently earliest preserved copies available to this record are photographs dated 2026-03-05.

These photographs document a hand-drawn paper artifact created by Rigel Randolph. The drawing predates the later BCAT/GCAT formalization work and is preserved as an early recoverability, coherence, unavailable-data, and admissible-reflection geometry that contributed to the later need for formal governance formalisms.

Earlier ChatGPT uploads, drafts, scans, or preservation copies may have existed, but they have not yet been located. Therefore, this page distinguishes the earliest currently preserved copy from the original creation date and from any earlier upload date.

Source Artifact Custody​

The five recovered JPEG files are recorded in:

static/provenance/sg-001-source-artifact-custody.json

The custody manifest records exact filenames, SHA-256 hashes, byte sizes, image dimensions, media types, current durable storage posture, the repository migration target, and non-claim boundaries.

The recovered files are currently retained in ChatGPT File Library and can be retrieved by exact filename and verified against the manifest hashes. Their later migration into static/source-artifacts/SG-001/ is a durable repository task and does not require access to the originating conversation.

The public rendered image at static/img/formalisms/original-drawing-reference.jpg is a display reference. Exact byte equivalence between that rendered asset and any recovered source file is not asserted.

This artifact should be treated as a pre-BCAT/GCAT precursor source geometry.

Preservation Boundary​

The preserved photographs are source evidence for the existence and content of the hand-drawn artifact as of 2026-03-05.

They do not establish:

  • the original creation date;
  • the earliest upload date;
  • complete custody history;
  • proof of formal derivation;
  • proof of admissibility;
  • proof that later systems inherit authority from the drawing.

Non-Claim​

A drawing reference records possible lineage evidence. It does not establish that a term, formalism, implementation, or governance claim is original, prior, derived, accepted, or admissible.
